What if 'Ghostbusters' was made in 1954?

A clever video editor has made a fake movie trailer that imagines what the 1984 movie "Ghostbusters" would have been like if it were made in 1954.
Replacing Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis as Ghostbusters are Bob Hope, Dean Martin and Fred MacMurray, respectively.
Video clips used in the fake trailer come from such films as "Scared Stiff", "Ghost Breakers", "Topper Takes a Trip", "The Ghost Busters", "Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man", "Ghosts on the Loose", "Spooks Run Wild", and "Flubber".

JK Wedding Entrance Dance

This video has gone viral in a big way. Posted just five days ago, it already has 2.3 million views on YouTube as of early this evening. Thanks to colleague Joannè for sending it my way.
You have to wonder whether they knew they were making an Internet meme at the time or were trying to win the America's Funniest Home Videos contest.
The video posted July 19, 2009, was taken at a "Church in St. Paul, Minnesota," according to the description on YouTube. KSTP TV in the Twin Cities says it's Christ Lutheran Church in St. Paul .
Anyway best of luck to the bride and groom, Jill Peterson and Kevin Heinz. They're already making the rounds of the talk shows -- NBC's Today Show, ABC's Good Morning America, etc.

MacGruber the movie coming soon

The big news out of Hollywood this week was the announcement of a movie based on the recurring MacGruber sketches on "Saturday Night Live," which are a parody of the 1985-92 action-adventure show "MacGyver." (OK, maybe "big news" is a stretch.) The MacGruber skits, starring Will Forte as MacGruber, have been running on SNL since 2006.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote about possible casting news today.
